Can attendees, speakers, or companies fill out their own profiles?

People generally like filling out their own profiles so handing them the reigns is a great option if you don't have all of the information for them (but at least their names and emails). You can do this for speakers, attendees, or company contacts by sending them self-edit links right from the Content Manager. These contain links that allow them to edit their own profiles.

1. Enter their names and emails into the Content Manager.
2. Click the Email Profile button to the right of the listed attendee, speaker, or company.
3. Customize the outgoing email by filling out the form in the pop-up.
4. Click Send to send the email for the selected profile or Save as Template to save your customizations for each self-edit email. 


NOTE: You don't have to do this for each profile individually.

If you have added everyone in the listing, we can send self-edit links to them simultaneously. All you have to do is customize the email template (steps 3 and 4 above) and get in touch with EventMobi Support at support and let us know when you're ready.



Attendees can also create and edit their own profiles through the app by logging in and clicking on the Profile icon in the top-right corner of the Login pane. 

You can remove this ability in the Content Manager by navigating to the Attendees Settings tab of the Attendees module in your content manager and clicking YES/NO next to “Can attendees create and edit their own profiles?"
