What is a splash screen and how does it work?

ANOTHER GREAT WAY TO BRAND YOUR APP AND GENERATE REVENUE

Splash screens are available with the Native feature and will appear for a few seconds while the app is loading on all Android and iOS devices. If the app takes a while to load, the loading screen will appear to let the attendee know that the app is indeed loading (otherwise they might be confused by a splash screen that lingers for too long). Splash screens are not available on Blackberry phones and will only appear on Windows phones for a moment.

At this time, there is no set amount of time the splash screen will display; this depends on how long it takes your app to load. You can select the image you want to appear, but because the app will be accessed on a number of different devices with varying screen sizes, the image will stretch to fit the appropriate screen.

ADDING A SPLASH SCREEN IMAGE

1. Navigate to the Native section in your Content Manager.
2. Select Choose Files and upload your image. Files must be a .jpg or .png under 10MB. Keep in mind that your image may be resized to a width of 1375px and a height of 2200px, so you should use as high a resolution picture as possible.
